The Wendell Museum, at 122 W Second Street, Wendell, NC, is open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. It’s free to visit, but donations are welcome.
The museum highlights the rich history and culture of Wendell, including a timeline, people, businesses, agriculture, veterans, schools, churches and civic clubs.
The museum is housed in the former home of Alex Wall, longtime Wendell chief of police.

Children ages 1-12 are invited to compete. the Museum has a supply of colored wooden eggs for rolling, and wooden spoons. There will be prizes and cookies!
